Diane's Poems Part3

I Know

Every morning after the sun has risen for awhile
My eyes open and welcome a new day like a stranger
Whether predictable or inevitable
I know I am guarded

Every night before a dream prepares for its journey
I pray and give thanks, in simple phrases of few words
Whether fortunate or not
I know I am blessed enough

It is only at times the reality pushes me
To moarn and yearn for every minute before because
More bits of my youth are taken away as I hesitate a thought for tomorrow
I know there are things left undone

Yet at the same time there are too much already been done:
Health, family, and love
Words, music, and arts
What else can one wish for
In this modern, insane, and corrupted world?

I know, everyone thanks for the day given before
I know everyone breathes under the vivid moment
I know everyone seeks for a promising tomorrow

Dear Catherine
Written in perspective of Blake

Dear Catherine

I am a man of Words
And you are a beauty of Silence
If my contents make you bright
Yours are my delight

As departed betwixt Words and Silence they seem
We prove its theory wrong by simplicity

Nature generates us strapped by the Chain of Jealousy
Formed at the moment a Serpent strapped around Her poison’d tree
Some live to see The End with no intention of breaking free
Others live to Eternity finding Its key

I have become the latter when you rescued me
Your silence fed me fresh and green
In tenderness like an Angel’s feather sliding down my skin

Perhaps I am so far apart from the rest of the world
Yet none of that matters as long as I have you near

Please greet me every morning with a kiss as you did of each night before
For each time a kiss softly lands on my pore
I am reminded of why life is bright
And Death is no longer a threatening knight
